"I have pastored Life Pointe Church for a year and a half.  Nothing has expedited the process of getting to know the community like BUY A TREE. CHANGE A LIFE.  It provides a unique opportunity to host people from the area on your church property and show them the love of Jesus while selling them a beautiful tree that helps children!

Every year we hear amazing stories about people who came to purchase a tree and found hope in Jesus and a church home… all while changing the world.

This event is a favorite among members at Life Pointe Church.  Every year our church grows numerically and relationally as a result of BUY A TREE. CHANGE A LIFE. We are already planning for 2018 and believe it will be the best year yet!"

“I accepted the lead pastor roll at Prentiss November 2015. In November 2016, we did the BUY A TREE. CHANGE A LIFE. project for the first time.  Our church, though long-standing in the community, needed a new cause to rally around. We were able to establish partnerships with business and community leaders that lead to friendships and opened doors for Gospel sharing. Who isn’t impressed when you offer to write a check to a local organization that your community is passionate about?

There isn’t a week that goes by that someone from our community doesn’t ask, “Are you going to have trees this year?” or “How are the projects that BUY A TREE. CHANGE A LIFE. sponsors doing?

What’s not to like as pastor? We are reaching people in our community for Christ. We are raising money for kids across the world and kids in our neighborhood. We have increased our Mission giving AND we are building community as our church works together for a cause. We have received free articles and press time about our church with local media coverage. This has been a tremendous decision and the Prentiss Church Family is excited to be a part of the BUY A TREE. CHANGE A LIFE. family!”

“BUY A TREE. CHANGE A LIFE. has been a vital part of the DNA of Oasis Church from our first year in 2014.

Through awareness of the mission and our efforts to sell trees, our church has benefited greatly. In our five years with the project we have been able to raise $190,000 to give back to missions and our community.  We have become more visible within our community and more intentional and generous when it comes to helping, loving and serving others.”

“Freedom House Church has benefited greatly from our involvement with BUY A TREE. CHANGE A LIFE. We have  been able to develop deeper relationships in our community, both in local businesses and with families.  The project has also provided a great opportunity for our church family to connect with one another while serving our community and the world! It’s amazing to see new bonds, connections, and relationships form between people who barely knew each other, yet attend a church together every week. That’s a special dynamic that takes place every year!

we have people who met us under the tent to buy a tree, then attended a church service, and have since become a faithful part of our church life.

BUY A TREE. CHANGE A LIFE. has been a vital part of the DNA of our church. Through the awareness of the mission and efforts of selling trees, our church has benefited greatly. We have become more visible within our community and more intentional and generous when it comes to helping, loving and serving others.”

“We love being a part of BUY A TREE. CHANGE A LIFE. and it isn’t just because the global missions supports Cambodia and Israel!  Being a part of this ministry allows our church to have a presence in our community that isn’t possible through other projects.

Our church is known for giving and blessing others.

When people work together on a project it creates a bond. Sweating together and getting covered in tree sap has way of forming friendships and deepening relationships with each other!“
